The difference between realist art and modernism art:

Realist art is something that's drawn or painted to portray a realistic object. They would make it look real, like a person or a fruit, almost like it would look if you took a picture of it with a camera although they didn't have cameras when realist art was invented. 

Modernism art is a type of art that has more colors, lines, and details. It is a stylish type of art that requires complicated uses of form.
