I think the grandmother was nurture since she did it of love on the first place but the mom was nature since she grew up in that environment and doesn't know any different so she naturally treated her daughter like that because she thought that's how you raise children.

Bill Board is trying to reduce his sodium intake to an average of 2300 mg.
Fed [463]

Answer:

mean average = 2542.5 mg

1330 mg

Explanation:

The patient's average daily intake of sodium for those 4 days can be calculated by taking the mean average of the sample amounts given over the number of the total days.

mean average = \frac{2150+3005+2700+2315}{4}

mean average = \frac{10170}{4}

mean average = 2542.5 mg

Therefore the patient's average daily intake of sodium for those 4 days = 2542.5 mg

What is the patient’s average daily intake of sodium for those 4 days?

What would his 5th day sodium intake need to be to drop him below an average of 2300 mg

given that mean average = 2300; we can also determine the fifth day sodium intake as follows:

mean average = \frac{2150+3005+2700+2315+y}{5}\\2300 = \frac{2150+3005+2700+2315+y}{5}

2300*5 =2150+3005+2700+2315+y

11500 = 10170 +y

11500-10170 =y

y = 1330 mg

Hence, his sodium intake for the fifth day will be 1330 in order to drop him below an average of 2300 mg

American Poetry

This question is taken from the book titled An Ear to the Ground: An Anthology of Contemporary American Poetry.

Now, the statement from the book is that clumsy aunty grace chased the ones she had dropped on the linoleum floor.

From that statement and when considering other statements around that story, we can tell that it was describing aunty grace as an embodiment of the messiness of reality vs the order that art sometimes imposes.

The owner of a plant nursery will conduct a study to investigate whether a new fertilizer is more effective than an older fertil
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

1. It reduces the probability of sampling bias.

2. A random sample will be more representative of the whole population.

3. Allows the researcher to determine the efficacy of the fertilizer.

Explanation:

Selecting a simple random simple from a large population is a widely used method in science. Researchers select a random sample so every individual, in this case seedling, has an equal chance to be selected.

Therefore, it is an accurate method that, although is not free from errors, avoids or reduces the probability of sampling bias. Selecting a truly random tomato seedling will be more representative of the whole population of seedling instead of selecting carefully a seedling that already has specific or desired characteristics. Hence, this random sampling will allow the researcher to determine the efficacy of the fertilizer.
