Answer:

The area of window is 49\frac{5}{6} ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A rectangular window with width 8\frac{2}{3} ft and height 5\frac{3}{4} ft.

We have to find the area of the  window.

Since, The window is in shape of a rectangle so area of window is equal to area of rectangle.

Area of rectangle = Length × breadth

Here, Length = 8\frac{2}{3}=\frac{26}{3} ft

and height= breadth = 5\frac{3}{4}=\frac{23}{4} ft.

Substitute, we have,

Area of rectangle = \frac{26}{3}\times \frac{23}{4}

Simplify, we have,

Area of rectangle = \frac{598}{12}=\frac{299}{6}

writing in mixed fractions, we have,

Area of rectangle = 49\frac{5}{6}

Thus, The area of window is 49\frac{5}{6} ft²

Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer : A 2x^2y^3\sqrt{6x}

\sqrt{ 24x^5y^6}

Take square root for each term and simplify it

\sqrt{24} *\sqrt{x^5}  *\sqrt{y^6}

\sqrt{24}=\sqrt{4 * 6}  = 2\sqrt{6}

\sqrt{x^5} = x^2\sqrt{x}

\sqrt{y^6} = y^3

so we will get

2\sqrt{6} *  x^2\sqrt{x} * y^3

2x^2y^3\sqrt{6x}

PLEASE HELP!! <br> Algebra II
Nutka1998 [239]

Answer:

f(-8) = -512, f(8) = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Substitute x = -8 and 8 into the function, taking into account the rules of the function.

For x = -8, x < 0 so the value is equal to the cube of -8, which is -512.

For x = 8, x > 0 so the value is equal to the cube root of 8, which is 2.

Treasury bills are paying a 4% rate of return. A risk-averse investor with a risk aversion of A = 1.85 should invest entirely in
kumpel [21]

Answer:

14.656%

Step-by-step explanation:

Data provided in the question:

Rate of return, r = 4% = 0.04

Risk aversion of A = 1.85

Standard deviation, σ = 24%

Now,

we have the relation

A = (E - r) ÷ σ²

E = expected return on portfolio

r = Risk free rate

on substituting the respective values, we get

1.85 = (E - 0.04) ÷ (0.24)²

or

0.0576 × 1.85 = (E - 0.04)

or

0.10656 + 0.04 = E

or

E = 0.14656 or

E = 0.14656 × 100% = 14.656%
