8 minus 4 3/3 so make 8 as a fraction which will be 8/1 minus 4 3/4 than find the common denominator so multiply 8/1 by 4 than u get 32/4 so u basically multiply top and bottom by 4 to get common denominator than u turn 4 4/3 to improper fraction so do 4 times 4 which is 16 and add 3 which is 19/4 now real simple subtract 32/4 minus 19/4= 13/4 also if u subtract 43-8 u get 31/4 this is another way hope this helps:)

HELPPP!!!Kelsey uses the similarity statement to describe the triangles below.
Ganezh [65]

RT = 8 , RS = 3 AND ST = 5.4

RV = 4 , RU = 1.5 AND UV = 2.7

∴ RT/RV = 8/4 = 2

AND RS/RU = 3/1.5 = 2

AND ST/UV = 5.4/2.7 = 2

∴Δ RTS IS SIMILAR TO ΔRVU

SO, the best statement is:

Each pair of sides corresponds with a common ratio of 2.

Factor the polynomial 12c9 + 28c7. Find the GCF of 12c9 and 28c7. 4c7 Write each term as a product, where one factor is the GCF.
Iteru [2.4K]

We have been given a polynomial 12c^9+28c^7. We are asked to factor the given polynomial.

First of all, we will find the greatest common factor of both terms.

GCF of 12 and 28 is 4 as 3 times 4 is 12 and 7 times 4 is 28.

GCF of c^9\text{ and }c^7 is c^7.

So GCF of 12c^9\text{ and }28c^7 is 4c^7.

Now we will rewrite each term as product of GCF and a term as:

12c^9=4c^7(3c^2)

28c^7=4c^7(7)

4c^7(3c^2)+4c^7(7)

Now we will factor out 4c^7 from both terms as:

4c^7(3c^2+7)

Therefore, factored form of our given expression would be 4c^7(3c^2+7).

Solve for x: 5 − (x + 5) > −2(x + 4)
andrew-mc [135]

Answer:

The answer is

\huge x > - 8

Step-by-step explanation:

5 − (x + 5) > −2(x + 4)

First of all expand the terms in the bracket

That's

5 - x - 5 > - 2x - 8 \\ - x > - 2x - 8

Add 2x to both sides

- x + 2x > 2x - 2x - 8 \\ x > - 8

We have the final answer as

x > - 8

Hope this helps you
