Explanation:

1. Gary Soto used imagery to support the theme "people have compassion for others." The boy didn't have enough money for the chocolate so he gave up an orange to help pay for it.

2. Oranges is a poem that focuses on the feelings and thoughts of an adolescent boy about to meet up with a girl. The weather doesn't help his cause but to the rescue so to speak come the oranges, full of warmth and color. They are the symbols of hope and confidence.

3. Love is one of the first and foremost theme of Oranges, written by Gary Soto. In this poem, a young boy walks for the first time with a girl, at the innocent age of twelve. He sacrifices an orange for his lady-love. He does not deny her wish, rather, gives up his nickel and orange to make her happy.

4. They become symbolic of the innocent, young love he has for her. For the speaker, a dime is a lot of money. He clearly has the two oranges for them, but the girl wants chocolate. Since he only has a nickel, he uses the orange.

Alisiya [41]
The best answer to the statement given above is option b. false. Most people who become addicted to drugs are NOT able to stop on their own and need outside help. Those people who are addicted to drugs have difficulty to abstain from it because these drugs created an addictive pleasure to the body which makes them crave for it. If the urge is not satisfied, drug users often suffer from withdrawal symptoms. This is the time that they need outside help, that's why they need to undergo rehabilitation.

As you are visualizing yourself taking purposeful action, you want to be sure to include those actions which you may resist perf
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

The given statement asserts a true claim as while visualizing a determined action, all the actions or thoughts which may influence or question the effective execution of that action must be avoided. The chief aim would rather be concentrating on the actions that would ensure the implementation of the intended plan efficiently at every stage to produce the desired effect and attain the intended goal. The testing of the plan or discussing it with the project team or editing it always comes after the visualization and formation of the idea and plans to check for the flaws that could be rectified. Therefore, the statement asserts a true and appropriate claim.
