s2008m [1.1K]

The Songhai leader who left a legacy through the reforms in his empire was Muhammad I Askia or Muhammad Ture. Under his governance, he began organizing his land by setting up regions which were under the leadership of governors together with their armies under the ruling of a general and an admiral.  He also began setting departments and offices for finance, justice, interior, agriculture, etc. He indeed strengthened the administrative system of what his predecessor had left unorganized.  After a lot of quests and changes in his governance, he was able to expand and strengthened his empire. In 1528, he was defeated and overthrown by his son, Askia Musa.

Why are the books of the Torah also found in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible? A. Judaism and Christianity share a belie
chubhunter [2.5K]

Correct answer:  B. Judaism and Christianity are Abrahamic religions, believing that God showed himself to Abraham.

The ancient Hebrew Bible began with the "Torah," that is, "The Law," which was given through the leader of Israel, Moses.  The five books attributed to Moses, referred to collectively as "The Torah," are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.  In the book of Genesis, the account of Abraham is given, and subsequent books detail the history of the people of Israel, Abraham's descendants.  The "Torah" or "Law" is only a portion of the Hebrew Bible, which also included the Prophets and the Writings.  That whole collection of books that made up the Hebrew Bible are considered the "Old Testament" by Christians in their Bible.
