Hi please help with a few (mean, median) math questions!
sattari [20]
1.rearrange your data from least to greatest:
0,0,1,1,2,2,2,14

middle is 1 and 2 ... so median is 1+2/2= 1.5 and it is the median not the mean
2.I believe the only outlier is 50. Finding the mean would be 80.11.
The answer would be D
3.D. Mean always goes toward the skewness due to outliers.
Median is minimally affected by outliers.
4.We remove an outlier because we can simply assume that there was some type of extreme experimental error, or something went wrong. The mean shouldn't be effected that much, but the median will be greatly effected.
