I would use a simple metaphor:

Yellow is colour that burns your eyes, but freezes you mind; a colour that joins you with yourself and separates you from others.

For you to create your own:

You have to think about the colour. Close your eyes, and imagine the yellow colour and think of what it means to you.

Hope it helped,

Yellow is similar to the emotion of the feeling excitement, like being loud and and in your face, but not due to anger. Also very protective and warning like, too.

In feeling, it would be comforting, and warm. But also almost like a warning to watch out and be careful. Slow down and not go to fast.

Reasons I give for my answer, is the fact yellow is very eye catching and very in your face once there, depending on shade. It is one of the colors that can be used to help let people know you are there when working on a job site, which is helpful to protect them and yourself from them. It is also the color used to tell us when to slow down when driving. Or warning of signs of what is ahead.

It is also the color of sunlight, which equals warmth and comfort in a sense. Health even in some peoples view, since sunlight can be a remedy to help some depressions.

Locks on any canal are used only for A. Locks are gates that block off sections of water—they are used to move boats from one body of water to another when the heights are different. The boat approaches from one side of the canal. One gate is opened while the other is shut, and the boat goes in. Then both are shut, and the water level is lowered or raised to equal the other side of the canal. The other gate is then opened, and the boat goes out.
