Mansa Musa was the famed emperor of a. Mali. He is mostly popular especially outside Africa and was the fourteenth emperor of Mali Empire. His remarkable and unique pilgrimage to Mecca last 1324 is the first step of getting to know European and and Middle East rulers. Despite being the first Muslim ruler in West Africa, Musa's time of service had his people experienced decades of peace and progress and was considered to be among the best years of their lives.
