Collect like terms.. 7b-9=30 . Add 9 to both sides to isolate b. 7b= 39. Divide both sides by 7. B=39/7 maybe there was a problem is this equation maybe it was 7b+9=30 instead of 7b-9 =30

What is the value of x in the equation below?<br> 1+2eX+1 = 9
Monica [59]

The value of x is 1.252762968495368

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that,

We have to find the value of x in given equation

Given equation is:

1+2e^x + 1 = 9

Simplify the left side of equation

2+2e^x = 9

Move 2 from left side to right side of equation

2e^x = 9-2\\\\2e^x= 7

Therefore,

e^x = \frac{7}{2}\\\\e^x = 3.5

Taking ln on both sides

ln and e cancels each other each other

x = ln\ 3.5

Therefore,

x = 1.252762968495368

Thus the value of x is found
