Answer:

WARNING THIS IS A LONG STORY AND IT IS NOT WRITTEN BY ME BUT IT IS A NICE STORY :)

Explanation:

Harry's father was disabled after an accident. He used to have a job, even if he didn't make that much money. Now, Mom was the family's only breadwinner. Even with Dad's disability benefits, there wasn't enough money for Harry and his two younger brothers. They were twins so they needed two sets of clothes – no hand-me-downs. And they had just started school, which brought forth more expenses. Those little fidgets had no respect for their belongings and they'd often come home with their backpacks torn or their pants ripped. Mom would scold them, for all the good it did. Kids will be kids. Her constant misery and poverty made her irritable and cranky. She cried a lot.

Harry couldn't wait to finish school and get a job, any kind of job just to lift some of the load off Mom's shoulders. In his wildest dreams, he'd also help Dad recover enough to attend to himself and look after the little ones.

Harry considered getting into an illegal business to make things better, but it was like a bucket of cold water washing over him every time: "No, I shouldn't make my Mom's life even harder by becoming a criminal. What I should do is wait for graduation." He still had two years of school left to go. Until then, Harry helped Mom around the house however he could: he cleaned and cooked and helped the twins with their homework. Mom said her life would be a living hell without an assistant like him.

One day, on his way home from school, Harry was walking under a dark archway when he saw an inconspicuous suitcase resting against the wall. As luck would have it, he tripped up right next to where it was. Harry was just going to walk along but his legs refused to move. Curiosity was tearing him up inside. He found a watching spot nearby to wait for someone to pick up the suitcase. But that alleyway wasn't very popular. Two hours later, nobody showed up. Harry approached the suitcase again and stopped to look around. His heart was pounding like crazy. "If I took it, would that be stealing? Finders keepers, right?" After wrestling with his conscience, Harry bent down abruptly, grabbed the handle, and ran for a secluded place behind the car garages. He was bursting with impatience to finally see what was inside.

Finally, Harry caught his breath and squatted next to the suitcase. The lock popped open easily. Almost reverently, he pulled the lid open and gasped. It was stuffed full of fresh dollar bills. Harry broke out in a sweat, his hands were shaking and his knees turned to jelly. He slumped down next to his newfound riches. His head filled with fantasies: his father cured, all of them moving into a new apartment, his brothers getting an education and his mother a well-earned rest, Harry himself starting a business. He felt butterflies in his stomach at the prospect. Who wouldn't? Surely the money was a divine retribution for everything the family had gone through.

Harry put a few of the crisp bills in his pocket and decided to bury the suitcase right there. He dug a hole using his bare hands and a metal bar that was lying around. After covering it with dry leaves and grass, Harry set out to the nearest supermarket to buy food for his family.

He took a shopping trolley and walked along the aisles stocked with delicious food. He got a few different kinds of bread, his father's favorite specialty fish, variety meats, some candy, some expensive tea. He decided to tell Mom that he'd found a part-time job and he'd bring her groceries every day now.

Finally, Harry was at the checkout. After he handed her the bill, the cashier gave him the side eye, then she put his groceries aside and asked him to wait. It didn't sound unreasonable to Harry. There was probably a mismatched barcode or something. He was patiently daydreaming about his brave new future when two policemen came out of the blue, took him by the arms carefully, and told him to come with them.

When they brought Harry to the police station, he was on the verge of a mental breakdown. It was only then that they told him the cash was forged. Harry's radiant dreams were crushed and after they locked him up, he let his tears flow. They searched his apartment in the morning but didn't find anything suspicious. Harry told them the true story about the suitcase that he had found and buried behind the garage. When they found it intact, they let Harry go. But this was a lesson learned. One should never expect money to fall out of the sky. The only free cheese is in the mouse trap.
