Answer:

The warm water that the ocean conveyor belt carries northwards, releases

heat into the atmosphere, keeping western Europe warm.

Explanation:

The Ocean conveyor belt, also known as the Atlantic Meridional Overturning

Circulation (AMOC), "starts" in waters between Greenland and Scotland, more than one thousand miles away, in the north-east Atlantic.

The Atlantic conveyor belt, moves warm water from the tropics, up north to western Europe.

Without it, in winters, the UK, could be 5C colder.

I hope it helps!

It affects it by the warm waters in the gulf stream. Making the temperature up near Great Britain and Ireland Portugal etc. Much more mild then it would be per say in Eastern Canada. It's mainly affected by the Gulf Stream having it's waters flow upwards towards the countries listed.

We tend to not be able to see those differences as easily, and our brains tend to group the objects together that have higher-level similarities (color, shape, size) and see them as a single object.

Answer:

The answer is A.

Explanation:

The effect of chemotherapy that most patients have the hardest time dealing with is the hair loss which can be really demoralizing. In the example situation given in the question, the nurse should reassure the patient who is experiencing chemotherapy-induced alopecia (alopecia meaning hair loss) that his hair loss is temporary and that it will be the way it was before when the chemotherapy is over.

I hope this answer helps.

Histones are essentially identical in sequence/structure in all eukaryotic organisms from yeast to plants to animals. What does
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

It indicates that core histone genes were present in the last common ancestor of yeasts, plants, and animals

Explanation:

Histones are highly basic proteins that can strongly interact with DNA, which is packaged into nucleosomes, the basic structural and functional unit of chromatin. Each nucleosome is composed of approximately 147 base pairs of DNA wrapped around a core of eight histone proteins (two copies of four types of histones H3, H4, H2A, H2B). These core histones are evolutionarily conserved across eukaryotic kingdoms in terms of sequence and structure. Therefore, DNA-packaging into nucleosomes is considered a constraint for the evolution of core histones. Moreover, the presence of conserved core histones in eukaryotic kingdoms (e.g., yeast, plant, and animal kingdoms) is strong evidence that histone-mediated DNA packaging was presumably present in the last common ancestor of eukaryotic genomes.
