<u>A. A Complex System of writing </u>

<u></u>

The ancient Chinese are credited with numerous inventions that changed the course of development of modern civilization. These inventions led to the creation of the famous architectural feats such as the Grand Canal and the Great wall of China. Some of the other important discoveries of ancient Chinese are the gunpowder, sericulture, paper, printing, the Compass, acupuncture.

Further Explanation:

Legendary explanations of Chinese characters credit its invention to Cangjie, a bureaucrat under the legendary Yellow Emperor, and invented symbols representing the natural things on earth, such as animals, birds, etc. The earliest depictions of Chinese writing are found inscribed in Neolithic sites, on a body of inscriptionscarved on bronze vessels and oracle bones from the late Shang dynasty. The writing was etched on turtle shells and animal bones which would be utilized for predicting the future in the Shang court. The present form of Chinese writing has been developed since the Qin period, where more complex pictorial representations emerged, such as that of a man and a woman of kneeling figure. However, the representation of all objects was not simple, so the Chinese developed a complex script system by improvising on the Sumerian script. The solution to approaching the writing of Chinese words that sounded similar was provided during the reign of the first Qin emperor, Shihuangdi. The invention of paper helped in popularizing the Chinese script, as it was written in ink and paper.

One of China's notable achievements is A. a complex system o writing.

Its ancient form was originated from the practice of divination, finding the first inscriptions on pieces of bones and tortoiseshell. One of the facts that makes it notable is that, until relatively recently, Chinese writing was used more widely than alphabetic writing systems.

In its beginning, Chinese writing was based on the pictures of objects which represented concepts (<em>logographic</em>), to signs representing the concepts themselves.

Can anyone explain how Mexico became independent from Spain. I don't need all of the details just a short summary/explanation. T
kolezko [41]

Mexico had declared its independence from Spain. With that being said, Spain had a war that lasted 11 years with them. After one town had declared independence, they started to spread as they had recruits coming in from everywhere. Finally, a Spanish soldier had joined in 1820 and brought an army to Mexico city, eventually capturing it.

One year later, Spain agreed to terms.
