Explanation:

Use the Pythagorean identity, cancel common factors, and divide numerator and denominator by cos(x). Equivalently, multiply numerator and denominator by sec(x).

\dfrac{\sin^2{x}+2\cos{x}-1}{\sin^2{x}+3\cos{x}-3}=\dfrac{1-\cos^2{x}+2\cos{x}-1}{1-\cos^2{x}+3\cos{x}-3} \qquad\text{replace $\sin^2$ with $1-\cos^2$}\\\\=\dfrac{\cos{x}(2-\cos{x})}{(\cos{x}-1)(2-\cos{x})}=\dfrac{\cos{x}}{\cos{x}-1}=\dfrac{1}{\dfrac{\cos{x}}{\cos{x}}-\dfrac{1}{\cos{x}}}=\dfrac{1}{1-\sec{x}}

Please help!! I can’t figure this out

Each room has 2 walls that are 4x10 = 40 square feet and 2 walls that are 8x10 = 80 square feet. So 80+80+40+40 = 240 square feet of wall will be painted per room.

We use 2 coats of paint so in effect, we double the area. Imagine laying one thin wall on top of the other. The amount of paint area used per room doubles from 240 to 480

There are 4 of these rooms so 4*480 = 1920

The total area we need to paint is 1920 square feet

Divide this over 32 to get 1920/32 = 60

Final Answer: 60

QUESTION 10
Bezzdna [24]

The correct answer is A. The 200 randomly selected students

Explanation:

In most studies, the complete population is not surveyed or studied instead, a specific number of individuals are selected, this group is known as the sample. Additionally, the sample represents the population, and due to this, their answers are used to make inferences about all the population.

According to this, the population is all the students in the school, while the sample is the 200 randomly selected students because this is the group that is going to be studied to make conclusions and inferences about all the population.

What do m<1 and m<2 equal for both number 10 and 11? This is for geometry
aleksley [76]
10.) The measure of angle 1 is 131° according to the Alternate Interior Angles Theorem. The measure of angle 2 is 49° because 180° - 131° = 49°. I can do this because of the Linear Pair Postulate.

11.) The measure of angle 1 is 65° according to the Vertical Angles Theorem. The measure of angle 2 is 65° according to the Corresponding Angles Theorem.

Hope this helps!
