Jews were persecuted because he blamed them for all the bad in life. When his mother died, the doctor was a Jew. Hitler did not view them as the perfect race and thought they had many flaws. He had to blame a certain race, and Europe had always used the Jews as a scapegoat, so it seemed like an easy solution.
