It can be handy to start with a version of the point-slope form of the equation for a line. For a line of slope m through point (h, k), an equation can be written as

... y = m(x -h) +k

The given line can be solved for y to get

... y = (3x -6)/2

Then the slope is the x-coefficient, 3/2.

The parallel line through (2/5, -1) will have the same slope, so its equation can be written

... y = (3/2)(x -2/5) -1

... y = (3/2)x -8/5 . . . . parallel line

The perpendicular line will have a slope that is the negative reciprocal of 3/2, that is, -2/3. Its equation can be written as

... y = (-2/3)(x -2/5) -1

... y = (-2/3)x -11/15 . . . . perpendicular line

Answer:

x \geq 11

Step-by-step explanation:

8\left(x+1\right)-7x

8x+8-7x

x+8

Then..

x+8\ge \:-3

Subtract 8 from both sides

Part A please. Possibly giving brainliest to the one who answers the question
lara [203]

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer: 16 and 5/4 tbsp of sugar.

7 ÷ 2 = 3.5

Don't worry about the decimal for now, just find how many tbsp of sugar she needs for 6 tbsp of milk.

6 ÷ 2 = 3

3 x 5 = 15

Now, we will focus in the 0.5 tbsp of milk.

Find how much 1/2 a tbsp of milk can get for sugar.

4 1/2 tbsp of milk is 5 tbsp of sugar.

5 ÷ 4 = 1.25

So 16 and 5/4 tbsp of sugar is required.

Answer: 82.5 - x = R sorry if I am wrong

Step-by-step explanation:

1. We know all the angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees.

180 = x + x + 15 + R

2. Combine like terms

180 = 2x + 15 + R

3. Subtract 15 from both sides

165 = 2x + R

4. Divide both sides by 2

82.5 = x + R

5. Subtract x from both sides

82.5 - x = R
