The storm that nearly kills Odysseus while he is on the raft on his way to the island of the Phaeacians was sent by Poseidon. Odysseus was kept imprisoned for 7 years on Calypso’s island. When he was released, he built a raft to go away. While he was getting ready to go away, he was given food, drinks and clothing for his journey. When Poseidon came to know that Odysseus was escaping he broke the raft but Odysseus was saved by the veil given to him by the nymph Ino.

Can somebody give me an idea for a rube Goldberg?? There should be 10 steps!
kramer

The first thing you should know about Rube Goldberg is that he is a cartoonist   who created cartoons about crazy machine ideas like completing a very simple task using a very big production

The second thing is that many people use Rube Goldbergs machines to do stuff. There is a video on U tube which many people created a machine to light up a chirmas tree!!

An Idea is that search Rube Goldberg machines on U TUBE  and get some ideas!

Hope this helped (:

Anuta_ua [19.1K]
  • In <em>"Seventh Grade"</em> by Gary Soto, the story reaches its climax when Mr. Bueller stays quiet about Victor not knowing French.
  • When Mr. Bueller asks if anyone in the class knows French and then Victor raises his hand, although he doesn't speak the language, Mr. Bueller decides not to make fun of it, and instead, he continues with the class normally. This action had a positive effect on Victor, who considers Mr. Bueller to be a good person and motivates him to do well in French, despite of his previous attempt to impress Teresa.
  • Regarding the other options, althought they occur at the beginning (Teresa sees Victor in the lunch area and smiles at him and Victor raises his hand in French to impress Teresa) and at the end (Victor assures Teresa that helping her will not be a bother), they aren't considered to be the highest point of the conflict in the story.
