1. Common sense is a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine in 1775-76 advocating indioendence of Great Britain to people in the thirteen colonies. Written in clear and persuasive wày,Paine merchaled moral and political arguments to encourage common people of the colonies to fight for egalitarian government. 2.It succed the first continental Congress , which met in Philadelphia on September 5 1774 and October 26,1774. The second Congress managed the colonial waspr and move incrementally towards independence. 3.
