The words dissent, persecute, and tolerance have in common are;

 • Dissent in literal terms mean to disagree or non agreement of one's belief with that of the other.
 • Persecution means ill treatment or not treating well because of the difference in race, or difference in belief in religion and tolerance means the power to tolerate and let people follow what they want to.
 • So therefore the three terms are common in the way they are related to religion or secular way and showing peoples' agreement or non agreement or the treatment done with them on the grounds of religion they follow.

527 committees are an important part of the american political system because they
shepuryov [24]

Answer:

are able to raise and spend unlimited amounts of money as long as they do not coordinate their activities with a political party.

Explanation:

Electoral processes are extremely expensive. It is almost impossible for an individual to promote him/herself to the public with personal wealth.

This is where 527 committees fit in the picture. The purpose of this committee is to 'influence' the result of the election. They can technically openly aligned themselves with a single candidate, but they can help with the funding for a certain type of cause that might be carried by several candidates at once.
