Which evidence below directly supports the author's claim that while raising their children, parents will make mistakes? (5 poin

ts) Admittedly, that attitude is not without its benefits, but it goes too far in the other direction. It's an inhuman task to make all of these decisions correctly. That doesn't mean we should stop trying to do our best, to make the right decisions whenever possible. We can take comfort in this much: we teach our children even when we're not trying to.

Read this excerpt from King Arthur's Socks: A Comedy in One Act.
Alex777 [14]

Answer: They emphasize Vivien's adamant decision.

Explanation:

The stage directions revealed that Vivien has made an adamant decision. In this case, we can deduce that Vivien was going to do everything possible in order to get him.

This can be seen when she said that even though she had never wanted anything badly enough before but that this time, she could cry her heart out for him with no pride left and that she was going to have him.

Do you think it was necessary for Buck to kill Spitz? What might have happened had Spitz survived?
Solnce55 [7]
1) It was quite necessary not only for Buck, but also for others struggling to survive in the wild North. If he hadn't killed Spitz it it could have been very dangerous for others because he was very aggressive due to the hunger. Even though he was the leader, blinded by hunger he could do anything to survive, forgetting about the rest of dogs.

2) If he hadn't died he could have get many other innocent lives, like he had done to Curley. This character yielded to the external conflict of the harsh wild conditions, and his instings were much more powerful than his sense of justice so he could have bring harm until he reached his own safety.
