Length (L): w + 4

width (w): w

Perimeter (P) = 2L + 2w

               144 = 2(w + 4) + 2(w)

               144 = 2w + 8 + 2w

               144 = 4w + 8

               136 = 4w

                 34 = w

Length (L): w + 4   = (34) + 4   = 38

Area (A) = L x w

             = 38 x 34

            = 1292

Answer: 1292 meters²

A line has a slope of 5 and passes through the point
podryga [215]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation is mx+b=y.

M=slope (in this case 5)

x=x coordinates

b=y intercept

y=y coordinates

For the x and y coordinates, I'll use (2,0).

5(2)+_=0

10+_=0.

In this case, we only have one awnser, -10. Since 10+(-10) are the only ways to equal 0.

Hope this helps,
