8. Incorrectly punctuated sentence: <u>Sarah is busy today but she can go to the park with you tomorrow.</u> There should be a comma before the word "but".

9. Incorrectly punctuated sentence: <u>Reesa is wearing a dark, green sweater.</u> There shouldn't be a comma before the word "green".

The first one is A because they were supposed to put a comma after "but". I'm not so sure about the second one.

The answer is B because it puts a coma in the correct spot to pause between the first half of the sentence and the second. The others either randomly placed a period, using the wrong word choices, or made it a run on sentence. :)
