During this period, medieval philosophers looked into the ideas of Aristotle, who happened to be a famous figure of the Greco-Romano world. The ides borrowed from Aristotle were centered on "The One" and pursuing the meaning of Aesthetics. Aristotle described man as a “political animal”, and supplied <span>the framework for determining </span><span>who </span>might be considered a good person.

Aquinas, as well as other medieval philosophers, were greatly influenced by Aristotle's philosophy. Aristotle, for example, blends Aristotelian political philosophy with theology by putting forth the idea that God is "The One" that which produces laws and delivers justice.
