What aspects of colonial rule were oppressive? what benefits did colonial rule bring to southeast asia?
ololo11 [35]
Oppressive aspects of colonial rule were that often the rulers did not care about the local people and would exploit both the workforce and the goods and commodities found in the country. In southeast asia the problems were with France and Britain who tried to control the government completely without giving locals any rights that they didn't care about.
