The Geographical conditions were the main reason in regards to economic growth and development of mid-Atlantic, New England, and Southern colonies.

The dependency of the people of colonial era depended on natural environment to take care of their basic needs. <u>The southern colonies which were established at that time seeked natural resources in order to growth of themselves as well as grown of their country</u>. On the other hand if we talk about <u>New England colonies, they were more inclined towards religious reforms. They were looking to get into spirituality and wanted to lead religious life</u>. The mid-Atlantic colonies were completely different in terms of growth and lifestyle as they were the only one<u> who welcomed people from various cultures or lifestyles</u> that included people from villages and big cities also. All of these three colonies relied some way or the other on each other. The people of New England colonies were more skilled and were had craftsmen then any of them whereas Mid-Atlantic colonies offered diversity in terms of workforce as they had people from almost all working classes such as Fishermen, farmers and merchants. The Southern colonies had agricultural lands and schools. The economy of New England sky-rocketed as it was located in such an area geographically where the environment was ideal for water machinery mills and that helped them to get into business of woven clothes. The southern colonies were rich with fertile lands and crops were grown there whereas mid Atlantic environment was more suitable to grow grain and livestock.
