Which sentence contains an analogy? He ate as though he had been starving for several days. The student examined the ancient tex

t as a jeweler might look at a rare gem. I dropped on my bed utterly tired, but as happy as a clam. When my younger brothers are excited, they chatter like magpies.

Sentance one is a simile
Sentance two is the analogy
Sentance three is a descriptive simile
Sentance four is a simile

You can check to see if sentance 2 is an analogy by putting it into one. Student: text :: Jewler : jem. This makes sense because both the student and the jewler are examining something.

Hope this helps!
