One of the important roles of an MA is to educate the patients and/or parents/guardian for children patients. For parents who refuse to have their children vaccinated, it is important to inform them of the importance of the measles vaccine and the chances for contracting the preventable disease. It is also best to inform of the safety and the risks in taking the vaccine so that the parents can make an informed decision. It is important to keep in mind that the parents are just cautious and need reassurance.

It is key to inform them of the following:

· Measles is contagious. It is caused by a virus and transmitted through the air.

· Measles is preventable with MMR vaccine. The recommended dose is twice, with the first given between 12-15 months and the second between 4-6 years.

· The vaccine is safe and 97% effective ( with two doses).

In situations where your personal and/or professional opinions do not corroborate with the patients' or parents', it is best to take an objective approach using research-supported information and data. It is important to identify the issues the patients/ parents have on their care and respond according to specific needs.

How did the liberties of black after 1877 give way to legal segregation across the south? course herp?
Anna11 [10]
Thanks to the Compromise of 1877, the era of Reconstruction in the South ended. Reconstruction was the period after the Civil War in which the federal government took an enormous role in helping former slaves to adjust to life as US citizens. However, thanks to the Compromise of 1877, the federal government stopped these efforts in the southern states, allowing for legal segregation to take place.

After 1877, Southern states instituted different places for black and white citizens. This included restaurants, movie theaters, parks, and schools. This legal segregation would be further supported by the Supreme Court in their ruling of Plessy vs. Ferguson.

“The numerous suburbs, covered with parks, gardens, villas and beautiful promenades, and plentifully supplied with rich bazaars,
Anestetic [448]

A conclusion we can draw from the above is that b . Baghdad had a rich economy that supported a large population.

From the way Yakut al-Hamawi described Baghdad, we can tell that it is a city that has a rich economy because:

  • it had many suburbs
  • rich bazaars
  • finely built Mosques and baths, and,
  • villas

For these to be built in a place, the place must have a great economy capable of affording them. We can also tell the population was large as there were over two million people there.

In conclusion, Baghdad was a great city with a strong economy and a large population.

Which accurately describes the impact of the Catholic Church on medieval politics and government? (Select all that apply.)
jonny [76]

The correcte answer is: "The Catholic Church unified different kingdoms of Europe under the umbrella of the Church."

The Church in the Middle Ages was a very powerful institution since it was a deeply religious age. That is why the Catholic Church had a great influence on society and, although there were other creeds, in the 11th century Europe was largely Christian.

Beyond the borders that separated the European kingdoms a new concept of union was born: Christianity.

A thousand years ago almost all of Western Europe began to be called Christianity, because all its kingdoms accepted the authority of the Pope and all its inhabitants professed Christianity. All Christian territories were considered a single empire and their most important figures were the Pope and the emperor. The Church was then very powerful; the bishops and abbots had large tracts of land; the clergy, who were almost the only cultured people, were in charge of educating the young, helping the poor and being the chief advisors of the kings.
