Here are some things you should know before going to Peru,

The food is very different from American food and it has a big variety. There is spicy food, and many traditional dishes. They have very good resources there, that is why their food is so good.

Geographically, Peru is at a high altitude, so it can get very cold on some areas while on other ones it is very hot.
