You can split this into 2 shapes.

1 of the shapes will be a small square. The dimensions for it would be 4 by 3 (12)

The second shape, the bigger rectangle has the dimensions, 12 by 6 (72)

Now add these two values 12+72 and you get, 84

you answer is A 84 square inches

If f(x)=7-3x and g(x)=3x-7, what is the value of f(1)-g(1)?
postnew [5]
Substitute 1 for x in each of your equations.

f(x)=7-3x
which is
f(1)=7-3(1)
=3
Do the same for g(x)
g(x)=3x-7
which is
g(1)=3(1)-7
=-4

Then subtract g(x) from f(x):
3-(-4)
=7

The equation of a circle C, with centre O, is:
Nataliya [291]

Answer:

a) The center coordinates O is  (0,0)

b) The radius C = 15

Step-by-step explanation:

The given equation of the circle is : x^{2}  +  y^{2}  = 225

Now, general form of the equation of the circle is:

(x-h)^{2}  + (y - k)^{2}   = r^{2}

where (h,k) are the center co -ordinates and r is the radius of the circle.

Comparing the general equation with the given equation, we get

(x-0)^{2}  + (y - 0)^{2}   = (15)^{2}

So, here the center coordinates (h,k) = (0,0)

And the radius of the given circle is r = 15

Answer:

It would be 60

Step-by-step explanation:

So 3(3*5 + 5) so 3*5 would be 15, 15+5=20, and 20*3=60

This is really simple if you can't figure this out, you might as well go back to 1st grade and below

What the closest volume of a cylinder with a height of 10 and a circumference of 8
jenyasd209 [6]

In order to calculate the volume of a cylinder, we can use the following formula:

V=\pi r^2h

Where r is the base radius and h is the height.

If the circumference is 8, we have:

\begin{gathered} C=2\pi r \\ 8=2\pi r \\ r=\frac{4}{\pi} \end{gathered}

Now, calculating the volume, we have:

\begin{gathered} V=\pi(\frac{4}{\pi})^2\cdot10 \\ V=\frac{160}{\pi} \\ V=50.93 \end{gathered}

So the correct option is the second one.
