The correct option is A.
The law of segregation is a law which govern inheritance in living organisms. This law was formed as a result or the work of a biologist called Mendel. The law states that, allele pairs separates during the process of gamete formation and they are later randomly united at fertilization. Every living organism possess two allele for each trait. Each allele carries a specific trait, which can be dominant or recessive or combination of the two. Any of the genes which carry these traits can be united at fertilization.

Why is the structure of dna called a double helix?
jeka57 [31]
The structure of DNA is called a double helix because DNA is made up of two strands of nucleotides wound together in a spiral.

Annette [7]

It is possible to predict that because of the decreased number of cone cells, cats have poor color vision.

What are cone cells?

Cone cells are specialized cells in the eye required to produce the spectra of color observed in nature.

Cone cells can be considered photoreceptors located in the retina of the eye (in animals and humans).

Cone cells act in the best way in bright light conditions, conversely to rod cells that serve to observe at the night.
