To maximize the probability of rejecting the null hypothesis, use:

Mathematics
1 answer:

Answer:

a. high alphas, large samples, and one- tailed tests.

Step-by-step explanation:

In a hypothesis testing, we find out test statistic and also p value.

The p value if less than alpha, we reject null hypothesis.

p value for one tailed would be half of p value for two tailed. So p being less than alpha is more in one tailed test.

Therefore, to reject the null hypothesis we must have p value less than our alpha.

If alpha is fixed high, the chances of rejecting the null hypothesis.

Similarly if one tailed is having p value less than two tailed, then chances of rejecting H0 are more. If sample size is small, margin of error would be more thus rejection for null hypothesis becomes lower.

Hence correct answer is

a. high alphas, large samples, and one- tailed tests.

1/6 x 1/6 multiply these two together because you have the probability 1/6 of the time each roll of the dice and you have 2 of them

Find 16-19.
find mQT
Find m find mST
find mRQ
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

16. 142 deg

17. 23 deg

18. 134 deg

19. 38 deg

Step-by-step explanation:

16.

m(arc)QT = 2m<QST = 2 * 71 = 142

17.

m<STR = (1/2)m(arc)RS = (1/2)46 = 23

18.

RT is a diameter since it includes the center of the circle, point X.

m(arc)RST = 180

m(arc)RS + m(arc)ST = m(arc)RST

46 + m(arc)ST = 180

m(arc)ST = 134

19.

RT is a diameter since it includes the center of the circle, point X.

m(arc)RQT = 180

m(arc)RQ + m(arc)QT = m(arc)RQT

m(arc)RQ + 142 = 180

m(arc)RQ = 38

+0.9 +0.9
x = 5.4
( to get rid of the -0.9 beside the x, u have to do the opposite operation on both sides. if its -0.9, u have to add 0.9 on both sides)

not sure about the first one.
