According to Romeo and Juliet, Juliet comes to her decision based more on emotions, with a little bit of logic in mind. As you get to know Juliet as a character, you can tell she acts more on emotions, much like Romeo, than rather acting on logic. Your can also tell by this piece of the passage:

"How if, when I am laid into the tomb,

I wake before the time that Romeo

Come to redeem me? there's a fearful point!

Shall I not, then, be stifled in the vault,

Huck seems like the type of character, based just from this snippet, to overexaggerate things, even something small. He also seems to be on the glass half empty side of life. Perhaps cocky and a bit overzealous, too, judging by the "I bet I do" phrase. Does that help?
