In the novel A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, the character called Scrooge goes through a catharsis - he manages,just in time as far as his age is concerned, to reinvent himself. He goes through an 'enlightenment' when the ghost of his old business partner comes back from the dead momentarily to tell him about the shackles of sin (greed, selfishness, uncharitable behavior, avarice and general penny-pinching meanness) and where it has led him in the afterlife. It has brought him nothing but misery - but Scrooge can avoid it if he manages to mend his ways before his own death. This requires remorse, sorrow and genuine shame on Scrooge's part. At first he doesn't seem to be learning any lessons - then there is an illumination (he asks what will become of Tiny Tim and now seems to genuinely care.) The change in Scrooge is a change of heart.

The required details about slow travel is mentioned in below paragraph.

What does "slow travel" mean?

Simply simply, leisurely travel entails spending more time in a location to have a more comprehensive understanding of it. It's a way of thinking where your goal is to fully understand and delve into the local culture.

Instead of hurrying through, you can pick your own speed and unwind in this manner.

The idea is the reverse of mass tourism, when you mostly take short trips to visit as many things as you can. Many tourists have virtually forgotten how to unwind as a result of mass tourism. Therefore, deeper experiences are what enhance your travels rather than seeing a lot of different sites.

Question 9: What connotations would these lines have invoked in the listener of Edward’s sermon “Sinners in the Hands I’d an Angry God” choose two

Answer:

feelings of fear

Explanation:

There are certain expressions in Edward’s sermon that can invoke fear into the minds of listeners. For example when he said;

"There is the dreadful pit of glowing flames of the wrath of God; there is hell's wide gaping mouth open, and you have nothing to stand upon, nor anything to take hold of..."

In effect, his words create a sense of fear for listeners that God is angry towards those Edward calls "sinners".
