Fitzgerald was never interested in physical activities such as sport like the other did, he was good at writing and that was his biggest talent but it was hard for him to gain social acceptance because he didn't go to sports.

Because of that, he started to write plays and novels that would be good for social life in that school that he attended. He used his biggest talent and he was the best in it although that was something that most of the students weren't so good at.
