Our Father who art in Heaven,
Holy be thy name,
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day, our daily bread,
And forgive us our sins,
As we forgive those,
Who sin against us,
Do not bring us to the test
But deliever us from evil,
Amen.

tamaranim1 [39]

Jane Addams' actions showed a belief in Social Gospel. Addams was an American activist and social workers who is known as the "mother of social work". Throughout her life she was a prominent leader in women's suffrage and helped America on issues such as world peace, local public health and acted as an advocate for middle class women. In 1931 she became the first American woman to win the <u>Nobel Peace Prize</u>.

Social Gospel, the religious movement Addams believed in, emerged in the late 19th century and aimed to solve problems caused mainly by industrialization and urbanization. It advocated these issues by applying Christian principles and the teachings of Jesus - particulary, his second commandment: <em>"love thy neighbor as thyself". </em>Social Gospel was all about looking our for the good of all, they firmly believed that wealth was meant to be shared.<em> </em>Followers of this movement did not believe in Social Darwinism or "the survival of the fittest".

Famous leader (other than George Washington): How did a famous leader contribute to the American Revolutionary War?
son4ous [18]

Answer:John Adams was the spokesman of the American Revolution, playing a central role in convincing the Continental Congress to vote for independence. He also worked with Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin to write the Declaration of Independence.

Disgraced, Burgoyne returned to England, and was never given another command. These crucial colonist victories at the Battle of Saratoga persuaded the French to support the Americans with military aid, and is considered the major turning point in the American Revolution.

Women supported the American Revolution by making homespun cloth, working to produce goods and services to help the army, and even serving as spies.

The American colonists did not fight the Revolutionary War for independence from Britain by themselves. They had allies who helped them by providing aid in the form of supplies, weapons, military leaders, and soldiers. These allies played a major role in helping the colonists to gain their independence.

Imagine you are on a committee studying whether or not to make changes to the Electoral College system. What would you recommend
Anestetic [448]

Answer:

Following are the answer to this question:

Explanation:

I will completely change the voting system with no doubt because there is no doubt in eliminates it. I'm 18, and in my short life, I have also seen a three basic right in elections, in which the national election was managed to win by the selected candidate.

  • The peoples voting by their will in the elections, in which the common election was lost and a presidential candidate was appointed. This same electoral college can, by its free will, oppose the person's, in which people will appoint a nonethical president, especially unethical in a country that values the freedom to vote and to change so enormously.
  • If the United States does not have the right to vote, it's also essentially free to take a voting booth and voice an opinion that perhaps the voting in the voting of the participating universities is might or may not differ.
