The Renaissance began in Florence, Italy in the 14th century and gradually moved its way through Europe into the 15th century. Scholars rediscovered Roman and Greek documents, ideas and ways of looking at the world. There was discovery of new knowledge and ideas which led to a new worldview, perspective on life, cultures, and lifestyles. These shifts in thinking would reach its influence into our Western ideology and worldviews.
