In this discussion, you'll reflect on the strategies you used to practice and improve your speech and evaluate their effectivene

ss. You'll also have the chance to solicit advice and tips for improving your speech.
Let's examine Dakota's post.

"For a lot of people, practicing a speech in front of a mirror is quick and easy, but for me it just doesn't work. I'm not even sure why, but I find that I get flustered doing it, even if I'm the only one in the room! My solution was to use my tablet's built-in camera to film myself. That way, I can quickly play the video back and evaluate my eye contact, gestures, tone of voice."

1.) Post your written speech. Explain strategies you used to practice your speech out loud.
2.) Explain, with specific examples, how these strategies improved your speech.
Read your classmates' posts in which they share their speeches and strategies.

You basically have to write a speech (or if you already did, reflect on it). After that, you have to post it, and explain the strategies you used while practicing speaking it aloud. Lastly, you have to explain how using these strategies helped make your speech better.

Hope I helped! And yes, I probably wouldn't understand this either.

There was no possibility of taking a walk that day. We had been wandering, indeed, in the leafless shrubbery an hour in the morn
const2013 [10]

Answer:

It's is a first-person point of view.

Explanation:

Identifying the first-person point of view is quite easy, especially if compared to identifying the many types of third-person ones. A narrative done from a first-person perspective will used first-person pronouns ("I" and "we"), since the narrator also takes part in the story. In third-person narratives, first-person pronouns can be used in lines said by the characters, but not by the narrator. It's worth mentioning that first-person narrators cannot be fully trusted. Their story will be permeated by their own feelings and biases.

As we can see in the passage we are studying here, the perspective is a first-person one. Notice the use of the pronoun "we":

There was no possibility of taking a walk that day. We had been wandering, indeed, in the leafless shrubbery an hour in the morning...

Because of the drought, city officials quickly took emergency measures to protect the supply of water.
Thepotemich [5.8K]
Emergency should be the answer to your question. Drought does not fit the adjective. Because is a adjunction . Quickly is most likely consider a action, so emergency should be your answer! Hope that helps.
