Answer: Odysseus bad attitude.

Explanation:

The Cyclops is angry because he cannot understand how it is possible that a weak man like Odysseus could have blinded and tricked him. Apart from that Odysseus never apologizes, even when Cyclops treats him well. Odysseus bad attitude motivates the Cyclops to seek for revenge and to asks Poseidon to interfere.
