Que does not have the è-grave sound because the è-grave sound sounds like “eh” and the words mène, bête and aide all have the “eh” sound. (aide sounds like eh-d)Que does not have the “eh” sound needed for è-grave because it sounds more like “keuh”. If you’re still confused on what the heck keuh sounds like, say koala very very slowly. The first K sound you make before wahlah (oala) is what I’m talking about.
