The tundra is a biome on the Earth that covers approximately 20% of its land mass, and it is almost exclusively located in the Northern Hemisphere. It is an environment that helps in the regulation of the CO2 in the atmosphere, and it is one of the biggest natural CO2 sinks. The living organisms in the tundra, are using the CO2 for their needs, thus removing parts of it from the atmosphere, and when they die, because the tundra is cold, and the decomposition is very slow, most of the CO2 remains trapped, and doesn't go into the atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the global warming is slowly changing the tundra, and prolongs the summer periods, thus reducing the permafrost period of the year, so the decomposition of the living organisms is getting quicker, and also bigger percentage of the CO2 from them gets to the atmosphere.

Describe how the chemical composition of Earth’s interior differs from its physical properties. Include specific examples.
boyakko [2]

Answer:

When you find the Earth's chemical structure, you can split the interior into three layers: the crust, the mantle, and the core.

 1. The crust is perhaps the lowest volume layer made up of several minerals formed from silicate.
 2. The mantle underneath the crust is the biggest layer which consists of more porous iron and silicate rock with magnesium.
 3. The core with high density is primarily metal (predominantly iron and nickel).

Through comparison, despite the Earth's physical features, how much the layers react to temperature and pressure, the Earth consists of five layers: the lithosphere, the asthenosphere, the mesosphere, the outer center, and the inner centre.

 1. The lithosphere is indeed the outermost layer of brittle rock which breaks when applying pressure.
 2. The asthenosphere is a porous layer; if a steady pressure is applied it flows.
 3. The mesosphere is below the asthenosphere (corresponding to the middle and lower mantle) and is solid because of the enhanced thickness tension.
 4. Underneath the mesosphere the outer core is liquid (capable of flowing), as well as the inner core is solid.
 5. The same as the mesosphere, as force is applied, the pressure on the inner core creates a hard layer which is unable to move.

What agricultural operations are affected by the standards set forth by the OFPA? Select all that apply.
fomenos

Answer:

Explanation:

The only option that is not affected by the standards set forth by the OFPA is the third option. The oversight of the federal grazing lands is done by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), which is an agency under the United States Department of the Interior.

The Organic Food Production Act (OFPA) empowers the National Organic Program which is been provided by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This program acts to regulate organic products which must meet a certain requirement/standard before they can be termed "organic". These standards starts are used to access the producer and the handlers before they are certified. These standards include livestock production, crop production and organic handling.
