Answer:

The Americans thoughts better of the USSR compared to Britain. The USSR leader Stalin preferred to talk to the Americans rather than the brits. Churchill thought war with the USSR was going to happen in the future and insisted to invade the exhausted USSR right after the war but was thrown out of office because church hill was really bad at economics. He was a great war leader but not a economic one. ANSWER: The allies knew there would be problems between there sphere influence. The USSR suffered the most and so it thought it deserved Germany itself but when the Americans were advancing towards Berlin, hitler left the western front in 1945 open for the americans to get all of germany instead of the russians. The USSR from this point knew war and hatred towards each will start . When the Russians and the americans met at berlin, there were already problems betweeen each other. The USSR kept secrets from the Americans and the Americans kept secrets from the Russians.

Explanation:

The struggle for influence of ideology was basically the only reason why Germany didn't receive a bad occupation. Also its one of the reasons why the United States kept the German generals away from trial. Both the USSR and The USA tried to kidnap as many German scientist and architects as possible.
