Because we can’t hear the words in an electronic communication, we can’t transmit nuances that can clarify intent. That missing element allows for greater misinterpretation when messages are sent without careful regard.

Of course, you can express your love with actions, but the principal reason you are making that action is the feeling of love. So no, you don’t need a claim over a person to love them. The only necessity to love someone is to truly feel the feeling of love.
