1. Christians believe that just as God did, they are to follow the ten commandments.
2. Christians believe that even if someone has sinned (commit something wrong) against them, that just as God sent his son, Jesus on the cross to die for their sins, forgiveness is inevitable.
3. Christians are simply nice because they want to give an example of how Christian people are and that God can provide good character and friendship among themselves with others.

Sophia wants to know how recycling can reduce the amount of waste in landfills. Which research question would help Sophia find t
kirill [66]

Answer:

The question that would help Sophia find the most relevant information about the topic is:

C. What percentage of waste in landfills is made up of non-recyclable materials?

Explanation:

The question has to have relevance to the development of the topic. Sophia wants to know how recycling can reduce the amount of waste in landfills. To have an idea of how recycling affects landfills, she needs to know how much of their waste is made up of recyclable and non-recyclable materials. From that information, Sophia will be able to determine, or at least to start researching about, whether or not recycling can have a significant impact on landfills. The more recyclable materials make up the waste, the more impact recycling can have.

With that in mind, we can safely choose letter C as the best option: C. What percentage of waste in landfills is made up of non-recyclable materials?

What imagery is Thomas Harding using in this excerpt from “The Darkling Thrush”?
klemol [59]
If this is the excerpt:

The land’s sharp features seemed to be
The Century’s corpse outleant,
His crypt the cloudy canopy,
The wind his death-lament.
The ancient pulse of germ and birth
Was shrunken hard and dry…

Then the imagery Thomas Harding is using from "The Darkling Thrush" is DEATH IMAGERY.

The use of the words CORPSE, CRYPT, DEATH-LAMENT, SHRUNKEN represents death.
