Osama Bin Laden was an extreme terrorist which made him known around the world an especially in the United States of America. He was the founder/leader of a terrorist organization called Al-Qaeda. He was most famous for his terror attack upon the World Trade Center which happened in September of 2001. This is when two planes stuck the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York.
