Which sentence contains an adverb clause?
ella [17]

b. I visited the bookstore while you were shopping for a computer.

Example:
"Where they can find food easily"
is an example of an adverbial clause. It is an adverb of place, answering the question: Where do most animals thrive?

Adjective clauses modify the noun or the pronoun in the sentence's main clause. The first thing to do is to identify the two clauses in the sentence.

First clause: Those may enter the park (the main clause)
Second clause: whose tickets have been punched (the subordinate clause)

Since adjective clauses generally start with a relative pronoun, it is clear that the second clause is the adjective clause. The relative pronoun is "which". Another clue is that adjective clauses are always the subordinate clause. It modifies the pronoun those.

Which word in the sentence is a gerund? Stretching after running, she touched her fingers to her toes. A. toes B. stretching C.
Lunna [17]
A gerund has a -ing at the end, so A. toes and C. touched could not be gerund.

Among the other two options, B. stretching and D. running Stretching is a present participle (a verbal form) and running - a noun- is a gerund, since gerunds are nouns.

The true purpose of daily telling of dreams
igor_vitrenko [27]

Since I haven't read the novel, I would say the general purpose of telling dreams is to share your vision or special event that happened in your imagination. The ability to remember dreams is really good, because most people will forget. While you can tell dreams, try see if you can still visualise the dream. Some dreams can be in black and white, and some can be in colour. Dreams have no limit, they take you to your own little world.
