Well, The Sons of Liberty had become very big protesters. The way that they would protest against the stamp act was by burning stamps and threatening the people who had been collecting the taxes. Other colonists had done their protesting peacefully by either making <span>speeches or making and then sending petitions to Parliament.

The Sons of Liberty were a secret organization created by the thirteen American colonies to fight taxation by the British Government. They did the job so effectively that the tax was never collected. After achieving that the group disbanded.
