Mary Wollstonecraft wanted her book “A Vindication of the Rights of Women” persuade the readers to understand the nature of man and woman as equal beings, that what men deserve is what women deserve also, and that the educational opportunities are the same for men and women.
Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-1797) wrote the book “<em>A Vindication of the Rights of Women”</em> in 1771, and it is considered one of the best works of feminism and support for women rights. In the book she recommends the government to establish a national education system that operates mixed sexes school to have the same education that men receive in order for women to have the right to earn their own living and no be dependant of men.
Gibbons v. Ogden was a Supreme Court case that occurred in 1824, when Ogden sued his business partner Gibbons over a ship route they had bought together. This case resulted in a massive expansion.
