Hi I can only help you with the treble cleft side as I play the flute

A trick I learned was that the lines represented
EVERY GOOD BOY DOES FINE going UP the staff, so from the bottom to the top
and the spaces between going from the bottom up represented FACE
Now this is only for TREBLE CLEFT
