Absorbed might be a poor word as a vehicle can only absorb so much energy, some will change the direction of movement, and so on.
The things we need to look at are:
the speed of the impact (this is the answer you are looking for)
The speed and direction of the vehicle after impact

Ben gordon, inc. manufactures 2 products, wheels and seats. the company has estimated its overhead in the assembling department
zhannawk [14.2K]
The number of parts used for the wheels is,
                                (300,000 wheels) x (2 parts/wheel) = 600,000
For the seats,
                             (600,000 seats) x (3 parts/seat) = 1,800,00
From the calculation above, the ratio of wheels to total number of parts is 0.25 which means that the overhead allocated for the wheels should be equal to $165,000. The rest of the money should be for Sam, totaling to $495,000.

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "B": automating the tracking of inventory and information among business processes and across companies .

Explanation:

Supply Chain Management (SCM) comprises all the steps companies take from gathering raw materials until the delivery of a final good to consumers. In the process, several resources are used such as Information Technology (IT) systems which allow measuring numerically materials, components, labor hand and hours, and the necessary resources for the manufacturing company given a period.

ExtremeBDS [4]

How will the general ledger accounts in the trial balance most likely differ if the company were a retail store rather than a wholesale company?

A general ledger account is used to record transactions that a company has. A trial balance has all of the general ledger accounts listed shows all of the debits and credits that a company has faced. A retail store will have smaller product transactions over a wholesale store due to the wholesale store selling in bulk. There will likely be more credits and debits for a retail store whereas a wholesale store may have more debits as they are less likely to have returns.

How will they differ for a hospital or a government unit?

A hospital or government unit will have vastly different general ledger reports due to the type of agency they are. These transactions will deal more with insurance or big dollar companies rather than individuals on a smaller scale. A trial balance is not a financial statement but it used to show balances that an organization has.
