Answer:

(C) 5^{\frac{3}{8} }

Step-by-step explanation:

With a calculator, this would be pretty straightforward, but if not, there is an easy way to go about it:

  1. <em>Convert your fourth root to an exponent and use the exponent rule:</em> (5^{3})^{\frac{1}{4}*\frac{1}{2}  }
  2. <em>Simplify with the exponent rule:</em> (\frac{1}{4} * \frac{1}{2}) = \frac{1}{8} = (5^{3})^{\frac{1}{8} }
  3. <em>Apply the exponent rule once more:</em> 3 * \frac{1}{8} = \frac{3}{8}

And now, the answer is in the simplest of forms. If you have a calculator, this can easily be inserted to find the decimal value of it.

Power over root

( {5}^{ \frac{3}{4} } ) ^{ \frac{1}{2} }
Multiple the exponents and that's your answer!

Solve the equation A÷2=4
egoroff_w [7]

What I would usauly do, is switch the whole equation all over.

The inverse of division is multiply. 4 by 2 would equal 8.

So therefore, 8 divided by 2, would then equal 4.

Your answer: 8
